4 CYLINDER TO V-8 CONVERSION
Fuel Injected Version Engine
When converting over from a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder in your Mustang to a V-8 302. A donor Mustang with an old 5.0 liter engine in it would be able to provide most of the ancillary parts to make the switch. Or you could buy all these parts new separately. Here's a short list of components needed:
Engine Mounts
Front Pulleys, Brackets, A/C and Power Steering ect.
Exhaust Manifolds
Computer, Wiring Harness and Sensors
T-5 Standard Transmission when applicable

CARBURETED TURNKEY ENGINE
A second option would be to change over to a Carbureted engine, Engine Factory can provide a complete Turnkey engine. It would run basically in a closed loop system. The computer and sensors would be completely cancelled out. The engine can be assembled with the front Pulleys, Alternator, Brackets , Fuel System and Electronics installed.
