Thanks so much for your help with assisting me with my recent purchase of the 408w stroker. Just an awesome amount of torque and runs even stronger than ever with the combination of the Double Pumper Carb. and the Vic. Jr. Intake Manifold. I couldn't ask for better service, you guys do business like we do. We're a dying breed. Here are some pictures of our 91 mustang, housing a 408 windsor we purchased from you folks. The motor has been great! Even with some of the extra use and abuse we've put it through! We have swapped out a couple of bolt on components to better suite our drag car. We changed the ignition system to give us a little more control when we added the Nitrous Oxide Kit. We then added an electric water pump. Otherwise the motor has been exactly as we received it from you folks. Car has run a best of 10.50 @ 128 in the 1/4 and is consistent as heck.

408w / 485 HP
This is my 1982 Bronco, which I've had since 1984. While
serving in
Afghanistan I decided on the 408w stroker turn-key
engine. I went with a
roller cam, Performer RPM Air-Gap intake, Hooker Comp headers, and the
March
sepentine belt system. I've got it bolted to an '89 5-speed OD "TopLoader",
with a Centerforce dual-friction clutch that was recommended, and the
3.55 rear end. It is plumbed with a 2 ½" true dual exhaust, with two high
flow catalytic converters and turbo mufflers. With 500+ HP; this
engine is AWESOME! Oh yeah, and about 17-18 MPG on the highway. It runs
strong, smooth, and quiet. The lope at idle is sweet. When I put my foot in
it, that engine can howl! While the body is in showroom condition, it looks
like a sleeper. Great for sucking in the unsuspecting Dodge and Chevy
pick-up owners! I can't wait for a F150 Lightning to try its luck.
The reasons for choosing the Engine Factory was their patience in

exactly as I wanted-and then some. In the box, that 408w looked like a work
of art, and looks even better under the hood. Tim signed the block, and that
