Hi guys! I had the 351w/435hp engine you built for me sent to my car builder some time ago. They installed it a couple of weeks ago and put gas to it yesterday afternoon for the 1st time. They immediately phoned me to say how delighted they were with how quickly it started, and allowed me to hear it over the phone! The tone in their voice got me all excited, too! This confirms that my decision to choose Engine Factory as my engine supplier was the best. Thank you!

Very happy with my Engine Factory motor...I have the 351w also. Runs very strong and they did give me a warrenty when I bought mine in 2005. There is also another guy locally that has one and he is also very pleased. I have 3600 miles on mine.

Ive got an Engine Factory 351W with mass-flo efi and it has been wonderful . Non-donor, Mass-flo 351W, 3.08 gears, TKO-600, I-Squared, 17'' Torq thrust. FFR 6019

I went with the Engine Factory; 351w stroked to 393, full polish.

I created a spreadsheet with all the specs I wanted the engine built to; what parts, any extra work to be done, setup.... we went back and forth a couple of times to fine tune, they priced it and it worked out great. For exmaple, I wanted all ss flex lines, a new '93 style PS pump, ARP studs, and so...

Polished Edelbrock heads, intake, and carb. The only problem I have had with the carb was from the oval Tony Branda Cobar air cleaner - it was sufficating it. Changed to an Edelbrock foam triangle open air cleaner and it was night and day. But, you could specify a different carb, EFI, or dual quad with them I am sure.

I bought the same motor, Engine Factory 351w 400hp all polished. So far I'm very happy with it. I have never had trouble with any Edelbrock carb I've ever had. Several posts indicated Edelbrock not good for these cars. That's a pretty broad statement as these cars have many different applications (i.e., daily driver, street performance, racing, strip, etc). I am highly suspect that Edelbrock has any problems with performance.
Talk to Chris at Engine Factory and tell him your concerns. They are very friendly, helpful and willing to spend as much time as needed on phone. They wanted 1/2 down to start and 1/2 before completion and delivery. It was 5 weeks from order date to on my doorstep.

When we build a car we use the engine the customer specifies, whether we build the engine or they want one from another source. Most engines we have no problems with. We have had warranty issues with the Engine Factory, they stood behind their product and made it right. I think it is easy for us all to love each other when everything goes well, but character shows through when the problems arise. I would not hesitate to use this vendor again when the need arises. I do agree that down the road resale seems to be better when you use a known source for engines or any other parts for that matter.
