Hope all is going well. A few months ago you sold me a high performance, fuel
injected Ford 5.0 for my 1994 Ranger project. Thought I'd pass along a couple of photos of the installed
engine.
One is the completed project, the other shows the late stages of installation.
Feel free to use these pictures on your website. It will show off one of the
more unique applications for your product.
I'm still breaking in the engine so I haven't pushed it very hard. The few times
I have leaned into it was better then most amusement park rides.
Having 350 hp in a Ranger makes for an interesting drive. I'm using the truck
for daily transportation at the moment in order to get some miles on the engine.
You guys did a great job getting the power without using a cam that would shake
me out of the seat at traffic lights. The engine is mated to a race-prepped AOD
tranny. I'm running Ford Racing 5.0 Explorer headers through a dual 2.5" exhaust
with Borla mufflers. The exhaust tone is pretty intimidating...
Once I get about a thousand miles on it, it's off to the dyno for some precision
fuel/air tuning. After that it's off to the strip for some real fun !
