DYNO TESTING
All Horsepower figures are measured at the flywheel of the engines. This is what’s known as “Gross Horsepower”. Rear Wheel Horsepower (Net Horsepower) can be influenced by a number of factors.
Horsepower figures that Engine Factory advertises have been tested in ideal climate conditions, without accessories and open exhaust headers.
MANY INDEPENDENT DYNO Readings may give various Horsepower and Torque results due to the variations in equipment and operator experience, Environmental factors like altitude and temperature may also affect readings. As an engine breaks in and the piston rings make a total seal, Horsepower results can actually increase as much as 10%.
