How much time will it take to Install over a Carbureted engine?
Another half a days work. Final Hookup of the Wiring harness, Running the Fuel Return Lines and fittings, O2 Oxygen sensor and Mounting of the external Fuel Pump and Filter, is the difference from the Carbureted engine. The hand held device does all the tuning necessary. There will be a full set of instructions that are very simple to follow. There is an the option to use more advanced settings for better fuel economy or performance not mandatory to follow. The beauty of this system is that it's self learning so a laptop is not needed to get the engine running. When purchasing a the Ready to run EZ EFI engine from us we start the engines and the ECU self calibrates itself. We adjust the timing and fuel mapping. Engine Factory sets up the engine as simple as possible to make it a trouble free installation. Having some hands on skills helps.

What other items are needed to install the Engine?
Hook up of Fuel Return Lines, O2 Oxygen sensor, some splicing of wires may be necessary and Mounting of the external Fuel Pump and Filter. Vented Fuel Tank. Most tanks already have this. Details Here.
Do I need to be experienced with Fuel Injection to Install the engine?
No you don't any prior experience. Everything is clearly labeled. Just follow the directions in the manual, make certain there are no fuel leaks.
Does the extra cost over a Carbureted Engine merit using it?
Yes if drive your vehicle often, drive in extreme weather temperatures, Higher Altitudes, fuel economy is important and a crisper throttle response.

No laptop needed to tune this engine. We will pre-run the engine ahead of time. The Handheld Tuner provided has some basic Preliminary Settings.
